I have been dancing on and off since, I was 12. About 9 years ago, I was first introduced to Ballroom Dance. A few years later, I became a Certified Ballroom Dance Teacher by DVIDA with a Degree in Associate American Style Ballroom. I have been teaching Ballroom Dance Teacher's College since 2009 a formal vocational program for new and experienced dance professionals that offers teacher training and preparation for certificate exams.
I am the creative director of BallroomTonic ; a program taught workshop style with emphasis on awareness of natural balance, flexibility, mobility, agility, strength and movement for ballroom dancing. - See more at: http://www.ballroomtonic.com/
I am certified in Move Like a Champion; a revolutionary training program designed for Ballroom dancers who want to better understand how the human skeleton works to produce beautiful and efficient dancing.
I am a certified Kinesthetic Edge teacher since 2010; Body awareness based on methods developed by the brilliant scientist turned educator, Moshe Feldenkrais, who developed a method for improving and enriching how we live. Using gentle, verbally guided movement sequences, you will learn how movement done with awareness can lead to greater clarity of thought and improved body use. Body Knowledge leads you through a process that has helped thousands to move more beautifully, think more clearly, and experience a renewed sense of possibility.
In 2009 while I was at a Ballroom studio in Florida I met , Nia Class teacher, Intrigued by her organic body movements, I contacted NiaNow and soon after became a licensed White and Green Belt Nia Teacher.
My philosophy is simple: Danceability
