Jami will teach you to master the lady's technique and styling in the salsa/mambo. With this video you will learn how to add proper Cuban motion and upper body action. She'll talk about the use of arms, head accents and good turning techniques as well as making your movements look believable. Jami will explain the different timings to know as a woman. Plus, you'll learn FIVE elegant shine patterns in the "Pm2" NY style which is demonstrated and then taught.

1. Cuban Action (Lower Body)
How it's created. The 2 ways to do it. Proper action in feet, legs, and hips.
2. Understanding Body Movement (Upper Body) Use of middle and back, shoulders and neck. Use of ribs to create arm movement.
3. How to make your styling look believable. Putting a reason behind your action. Light, heavy, twisted, off- balance. Different moods: classy, crazy, calm, just with self, or bad.
4.Turning: Right turns, Double or More To Right, Left Turns, Continuous Turns -- in place or traveling
5. Arms: In a basic: fluidity in elbows. Wrist, hands, and fingers, When dancing open break; after an inside turn.
6. Head Accents: Spotting, Head Roll.
7. Timing: What you need to know as a girl.Everything! Difference of dancing on 1, Classic or Modern 2, and dancing clave!
