Excellent DVD for showing off all of the syllabus patterns... But this is not for the beginner. There isn't too much time explaining detail on what muscles, and body parts to move.
If you are already fimiliar with technique, at least FULL bronze. then this is the perfect DVD for you.
Karina and Slavik make all these patterns look so beautifully easy!

I have very mixed feelings about this DVD. First off, it's amazing the level of style and technique these two bring to the screen. I feel that Corky did a rather poor job of actually teaching something about Samba in this DVD. What little he did go over (foot placement) was way too basic for the complexity of the dance. He consistently neglected to talk about changes in dance position & timing and left much to be discerned by simply watching them dance. Corky adds NOTHING to the quality of this DVD and I'm put off that he takes top bill. I've learned more from this DVD by simply turning off the sound and watching them dance in slow motion. My sincerest regards to Slavik and Karina for sharing some of their secrets.
