I?m sure that most of you are aware there has been a stock ownership and organizational change within American Ballroom Company. As the new USDSC Competition Director, I would like to take a moment to assure anyone with concerns that everything will go as scheduled for this year?s event. What is most important to me at this time is to maintain the integrity, excitement, and success that has made the USDSC the United States' most prestigious competition. This is by no means an easy task given the current situation, but a challenge that I am most up to.

I am deeply saddened that John Kimmins has resigned as President of the American Ballroom Company. I have always supported John in his presidency and I wish him success now and in the future. I would also like to thank Tom Murdoch, the outgoing USDSC Competition Director, and his team for their professionalism and dedication these last ten years. Your invaluable contribution to the event will be greatly missed.

During the past five years I have made the priority in my life spending quality time with my wife and two sons, and have not been visible on the competition circuit. While it was not my intention to step into the role of Competition Director for American Ballroom Company, as an ABC shareholder, an experienced competition organizer, and an avid supporter of DanceSport, I felt it was in the best interest of the dance community that I now step up to the plate.
