Ron Montez goes to Greece ? American Style
In January of 2004, Nick Nafpliotis, of Alma Latin Dance Studio and Palladium Dance Sport Center in Athens (yep, that?s two studios), contacted Dance Vision about the DVIDA American Style Syllabus. Nick was so impressed with the videos that complement the manuals and the certification process that he immediately purchased the DVIDA Starter Kit and implemented the DVIDA system in both studios. The staff watched the videos and studied the manuals over the course of several months and in November, Ron Montez went to Greece for 10 days, certifying 21 Teachers and 44 Students. To say the least, this was a huge success for Dance Vision, making its mark overseas.

?Everybody was very happy and excited about the exams. They were organized well and both students & professionals loved Ron. Despite the anxiousness of the first time, Ron was very understanding and cooperative with everyone and that helped a lot. He was not only an excellent professional but also a great person. It is not an exaggeration to say that everybody who took a test would like to give it a go again in the future. We definitely want Ron back in 2006 for more DVIDA exams. At that time our professionals will be tested in the Silver & Gold levels, and we hope to have many more students than now.? Nick Nafpliotis

American Style Ballroom Dancing In Trinidad
Diane Jarmolow has been extremely influential in the creation of DVIDA, which provides manuals, videos, professional certification exams, and student medal tests for all American Style Smooth and Rhythm dances, in addition to a vast network of professional support services. These materials, especially the syllabus manuals and accompanying videos, have allowed dancers around the world to study and master American Style ballroom dancing. ?DVIDA?s motto is ?Teaching the World to Dance?,? said Eugene. ?Now, with DVIDA?s help, we are teaching the Caribbean to dance.?
