Jim & Jenell Maranto
Jim and Jenell competed professionally in American Smooth & International Standard for 15 years. The are two time U.S. Professional American Smooth champions and currently hold the honor of being Licentiates in the Imperial Society of Dancers, the Ballroom branch.
Jim and Jenell have ranked among the top 7 in the World Showdance and are winners & four time nominees of the U.S. Feather Dance Awards. They have held every major title in the United States in the American Style, as well as many in the International Style.
These trainers of numerious U.S. Pro/Am and amateur champions are retired from competition dancing but are busy teaching, demonstrating and judging.
Jim and Jenell have appeared on the popular PBS television program, Championship Ballroom Dancing and in the hit movie, Dance With Me.
The Marantos are co-organizers of the Phoenix Fall Festival Dance Championships and are both DVIDA Regional Examiners.
