James Peters

James Peters began his professional career in 1964 at the Fred Astaire Dance studio in Oak Park, Illinois, was appointed to the Fred Astaire National Dance Board in 1970 and worked for Fred Astaire Dance studios in many capacities until 1988. Since then he has been the Dance Director with Lawrence Elkin and the National Dance Clubs.

James is certified in American Bronze, American Silver, American Gold, American Supreme Gold, and Theatre Arts and is an International Modern Associate and International Modern Licentiate.
