Why should I use a shoe brush?

A shoe brush is one of the best ways to keep your twirls smooth and your glides graceful. Take your suede-bottomed dance shoes and knock any obvious debris off the soles. Pull the metal-bristled shoe brush gently but firmly from the toe toward the heel. Do not pull in both directions or criss-cross. This will revive and clean the suede, keeping it from growing too slick or, conversely, dirty and sticky. Carry your dance shoes in a shoe bag until you're ready to step on the dance floor so that you don't dirty the delicate soles of the shoes and clean them promptly after use to ensure that your dance shoes will have a long and healthy life!
